The article is about whether to have death penalty or not. First majority’s
people believe an eye for an eye in order to balance society. The other small
proportion supports that executed people can’t bring nothing back. Since both
group have strong argument, the Pros states that ‘give life sentence to
convicted killer is not justice’ they argues that the ‘victim is gone’ while
the criminal still have opportunities to even have fun in prison. The opposite
argues that in civilized world such a penalty is barbaric. It took away the
chance that new tech may prove their innocence and violate with the due process
of individual. Also the average time for people on the death row to be executed
is 9-12 year. so either have or not the
death penalty the killer will still live up to 20 years.
